Thibodaux, Louisiana Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List

The City of Thibodaux Office of Housing and Community Development (HCD) Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. Applications were last accepted for one day on April 7, 2021. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

Please note: According to the CTOHCD, "In order to qualify the household must: Include a non-elderly person with a disability (A person over the age of 18 but under the age of 62)."

To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to call the HCD. No in-person applications were accepted.

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

It was not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

The waiting list closed after until 20 applications were received.
